Parameter
By Janek Pudeg on July 9, 2021
BeginnerWe distinguish 2 types of parameters: test parameters and result parameters. Both types of parameters require an input. The input is made in the form of text and / or one or more numerical values. The parameter specifies the input format (e.g. number of decimal places). The parameter specifies the unit (e.g. kN). At parameter level, mean or median values are determined from individual results (if required by the test specification). Limit values for automatic comparison with actual values are stored at parameter level. Default results (EN: predefines) are stored at parameter level (if possible) so that a selection can be made by drop-down. a) Test parameters (EN: test parameter) Test parameters describe requirements with regard to the execution of the test (e.g. duration, temperature, device, ...). These requirements result partly from the test specification and partly from the customer's specification. They are the work order to the laboratory. b) Result parameters (EN: result parameter) Result parameters are result input fields for the laboratory. They are unique.
